ABOUT
Diana Fenves
My work is epic, bold and dark. My phobias are many, but so are my joys. My work seeks to evoke intense emotion and engage with challenging ideas.
I live in North Carolina with my husband and two children.
My writing is represented by John Silbersack at the Bent Agency.
Life is Hopeless, but not serious.
A favorite expression of my grandfather’s. This Hungarian phrase describes my sense of humor and captures my Eastern European Jewish sense of humor.

Rooted in Hungary & Texas
I am first generation American on my father's side. My perspective is shaped by my father's experience as a communist refugee and the son of holocaust survivors. I was raised in Texas where my mother's family has lived for four generations, creating a unique Southwestern Jewish tradition.
